JC Penney’s new ad for Father’s Day
The text reads:
“First Pals: What makes Dad so cool? He’s the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver—all rolled into one. Or two.” The text at the bottom reads: “Real-life dads, Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their children Claire and Mason.”
HELL TO THE MUTHAFUCKIN YES.
This makes me feel warm and fuzzy

“A former PETA employee spoke of one particular incident that burned into her mind forever: A teary-eyed man showed up at PETA headquarters one day with his beloved pet rabbit. The man had grown old and sick and was no longer able to care properly for his friend. He supplied a cage, bed, toys, and even vet records for this pet. He was assured by PETA workers that they would take “good care” of his rabbit and find him a home. The man left distraught but no doubt believing that his friend would be able to live out the rest of his life in a loving, compassionate home… PETA workers carried him to the ‘death house’ immediately and ended his life.”
um…what the fuck?

Live all weekend a group of awesome people will be filming themselves playing video games for charity.
“Scare to Care is a yearly videogame-based fundraiser to benefit Camp Kesem UCSD, a non-profit organization which hosts yearly camps for the children of cancer patients. Last year’s fundraiser featured Tim and his younger brother Vernon taking turns play Amnesia: The Dark Descent (considered to be one of the scariest videogames ever created) over a live internet stream and scaring each other with elaborate pranks in the name of a good cause . The event raised over $1,100 for Camp Kesem UCSD and drew viewers and donators from as far away as Finland and Australia. This year, not only are we quintupling our goal to $5,000 but we are expanding the concept and organizing a three day non-stop videogame marathon of the scariest games you never wanted to play. The marathon, taking place from May 26-28 will be streamed live over the internet for the entire world to see and enjoy. Our goal this year is community and audience participation, so you can expect to see familiar faces, fun prizes, and hilarious scares throughout the entire marathon”

If you aren’t following Marc Maron and Patton Oswalt’s flight from JFK to LAX on Twitter right now, it’s time to reevaluate your life and your choices.
And they’ve still got over two hours to go.
UPDATE: DAMMIT, JERRY!
